Arabba

At an altitude of 1600m, Arabba is apart of the mighty Dolomites, in the province of Belluno. It is located at the foot of Passo Pordoi and Passo Campolongo. It is a relatively quiet village with a few shops, restaurants and bars all within walking distance. This ski area is perfect for advanced skier/snowboards as it has direct access to Sella Ronda and the many black and red slopes in this area. Along the slopes there are many traditional huts to enjoy a snack and a drink. From this area it is also possible to reach Canazei in Val di Fassa, and Selva in the Val Gardena area. From the same lift it is also possible to ski over the fairly manageable blue slopes via the Passo Campolongo towards Corvara. On the other side of Arabba, the lifts give you access to Porta Vescovo Marmolada glacier.

For non skiers there are plenty of fun activities too. There is an ice rink, dog sledding, helicopter rides, ten pin bowling and snow mobile rides. Sunweb has the best range of ski packages in Arabba. From all inclusive hotels to simple apartments, there are options to suit all groups and budgets.

Arabba-Marmolada

The Arabba Marmolada Dolomites ski resort is located in Province of Belluno in Italy. From here one has magnificent views of the cliffs of the Sella and the eternal snow on the Marmolada. Arabba lies between the two; Passe Pordoi and Passo Campolongo. The area itself has about 62 km of ski runs. However, it is in the middle of the Sella Ronda skisuperdolomieti. The village has lifts on three sides. 1 elevator provides connection to the area of the Marmolada with a height of up to 2950 meters.

To ski the Marmolada it is necessary to buy a separate pass. The othertwo lifts are related to the Sella Ronda. Here you will find a ski areawith over 300 km of interconnected slopes!

On one side of the village is skiing to Corvara (Alta Badia), fairly easily through the blue slopes. With the elevator on the other side, goto Canazei, Clouds Sten (Val Gardena) usually more red and black runs. You can view the entire round left or right. All lifts can be used with superdolomiti ticket.

The ski area is very varied and is very well suited for the more experienced skiers and is also very child friendly, this makes this area a great destination for all skiers. The large ski area is sunny and yet very snow sure.

"Nice Italian ski area with many challenges".
