The owner Gabriele Maquignaz is an artist. He makes beautiful paintings, sculptures, and other works of art. His pieces hang in every hotel room and in all common areas. The contrast between the dark and atmospheric wood and furniture, and the colourful and cheerful works of art is stunning.
Every morning, you can walk to the slopes after a hearty breakfast, full of energy. After a strenuous day of skiing, you can warm up with a hot drink in the cosy lounge bar. Are you ready for some relaxation? Unwind in the sauna or Turkish steam bath, so that you will feel fresh and rejuvenated on the slopes the next day.

The Breuil-Cervinia ski area is characterised by high mountain peaks and spectacular views. It features a modern ski lift system that will take you to the slopes in no time. The ski lifts are connected to the Valtournenche and Zermatt (Switzerland) ski resorts. Together, they make up the ‘Cervino Ski Paradise’.
You can enjoy 360 kilometres of slopes in this stunning area. Many of the slopes are flat and wide, making this area ideal for novice skiers. Don't worry, the ski area also offers a number of black slopes for those looking for more of a challenge. Due to its altitude, the area is also very snow-sure.
The highest point on the Italian side is Plateau Rosa at 3480 metres altitude. It is a glacier slope that is covered in snow year-round. If you’d like to go even higher, you can ski to the Trockener Steg lift station, the departure point of the Matterhorn Express (Europe's highest ski lift). With this lift, you can reach the Klein Matterhorn (3883 metres). At that height, you can look out over many mountain peaks, creating a fantastic view.
When booking, you can choose between a Breuil-Cervinia & Valtournenche ski pass or a Breuil-Cervina, Valtournenche, & Zermatt ski pass. The connection between Zermatt and Breuil-Cervinia is great! You can easily cross the border from Italy into Switzerland via a chairlift and a modern 3S gondola. In other words, even more skiing fun to look forward to!

Traveling by car:
The national roads are well passable. Pas Piccolo San Bernardo is closed throughout the winter season (November to June).
Keep in mind that the highways require a toll. If you travel via the Austrian motorways, you must be in possession of a toll sticker. For some motorways, tunnels and roads in Austria there is no vignette requirement, but a separate toll must be paid, such as the A13 from Innsbruck-Süd to the Italian border.
There is no general obligation in Italy for winter tyres. Winter equipment (chains or winter tyres) may be mandatory on mountain roads. This is indicated with a traffic sign. Not using winter tires in winter conditions can lead to (joint) liability in the event of accidents and also have criminal consequences. In Austria and Germany, winter tires are required in winter conditions.
In case of breakdown or an accident, it is mandatory that all road users wear a reflective vest.
If you travel via France:
Please note: in some cities it is mandatory to have an environmental sticker from 1 July 2017. If you drive over the Paris ring road, the Boulevard Périphérique, you will also need an environmental sticker in many cases. The vignette can not be obtained along the way, but can only be ordered online. The French police advise to print out the application form and the confirmation and to take it with you if the vignette is not delivered in time by post. Food and drink:
Italy is known for pizzas, pastas and risottos. It is not recommended to drink tap water.

Discounts for 2023/2024:
Ski lift passes for children born after 31/10/2014 are free. Children born between 31/10/2004 - 01/11/2014, and seniors born between 04/11/1942 - 31/05/1958, will receive a discount on their ski lift pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
