Sunweb UK offers a range of flight packages to different destinations. Transfers are not automatically included, giving you the choice to add them in booking step 1.
Luggage
We offer flights via easyJet, Jet2, Norwegian and Vueling.
EasyJet
Hand luggage
1 piece of hand luggage is included per person with a maximum of 15 kg (max. 45x36x20cm). This piece must fit under the seat in front of you. If you book an Up front or Extra legroom seat you can also bring an additional large cabin bag on board. For more information click here.
Checked luggage
There is 23 kg checked luggage included per person.
Jet2
Hand luggage
For flights with Jet2, 1 piece of hand luggage is included per person with a maximum of 10kg (max 56x45x25cm including handles and wheels) is allowed.
Checked luggage
There is 22 kg checked luggage included per person.
Norwegian
Hand luggage
1 piece of hand luggage is included per person with a maximum of 10 kg (max. 30x20x38cm). This piece must fit under the seat in front of you.
Checked luggage
There is 23 kg checked luggage included per person.
Vueling
Hand luggage
For flight with Vueling, 1 piece of hand luggage is included per person with a maximum of 10 kg (max. 40x20x30cm). This piece must fit under the seat in front of you. A large piece of hand luggage (max. 55x40x20cm including handles or wheels) is only allowed if you booked and paid for this via Vueling.
Checked luggage
There is 25 kg checked luggage included per person.
Ski carriage
If you want to add ski or snowboard carriage, you will have to pay extra. You can add this in step 1 of the booking process*. The ski carriage bag can weigh a maximum of 20 kilos. You can only bring one bag. If you want to add an extra bag, for example for your boots, you need to pay extra. Please note that if your bags weigh more than 20 kilos, you will need to pay for the extra kilos at the luggage drop-off point.
*For flights with Norwegian and Vueling you can book your ski carriage directly via their website.
Seat reservation and online check-in
easyJet: Please ensure that you are in time and have checked-in online before arriving at the airport. In addition to checking in online, you will have to enter your passport information. Online check-in is possible from 30 days to 2 hours before departure. Log in to easyJet here. Seats will be assigned automatically.
Jet2: you can reserve seats via Manage My Booking. Prices vary per flight. Online check-in is possible from 14 days to 5 hours before departure. It is also possible to check in for flights with Jet2 at the airport from 2.5 hours before departure.
Norwegian: you can reserve seats directly after you made your booking via the website of Norwegian. You can check-in online from 48 hours before departure.
Vueling: you can reserve seats directly after you made your booking via the website of Vueling. You can check-in online from 7 days until 1 hour before departure (for both outbound and inbound flight).
Late arrival
If you are planning on checking in late on your arrival day, it is almost always possible to get into your hotel or apartment. However, it is very important that this is arranged in advance. You will receive your travel documents at least one week before your departure, and this will include instructions on how to arrange your late arrival and collection of the key.
Name change
Name changes are expensive, so please make sure you enter the correct information the first time. If you make a mistake, you will be responsible for these additional charges. Airlines sometimes allow minor name changes at no cost. This includes mistakes that involve changing a couple of characters in the name, such as changing “Jone” to “Jones”.
Please contact us if any names need to be changed. We will check the costs for you with the airline.
Transfer
Transfers to and from the airport to the accommodation are not included in the package price. Please read the section about transfers for more information.
Our highest priority is always your safety. Which is why we want you to be able to travel with complete peace of mind. Therefore if you book any flight package holiday you will automatically be covered by our Repatriation Guarantee.
Sunweb is not your carrier. The air carrier in question, easyJet or Jet2, uses General Conditions of Carriage. These General Conditions of Carriage form part of the general agreement. If you agree with the Sunweb Terms and Conditions, you are also automatically agreeing to the General Conditions of Carriage of the airline.
