Making a booking

You can only book a holiday directly with Sunweb Holidays and not with a travel agent. You can make your booking online via our website or over the phone. The fastest and cheapest way is to book via our website. You book your holiday directly in our system where you will see an overview of the exact same availability as our staff at the contact center. You will receive a confirmation via email directly after making a booking.

If you want to make a change to the booking or add extra services to the booking, please email or call Sunweb Holidays. Most the of the time, it is possible to upgrade lift passes/add ski material/lessons up to 72 hours before departure but in some cases this will not be possible. If you need to cancel a booking, standard cancellation policies will apply.

Sunweb Holidays works with fluctuating prices based on the dynamics of supply and demand. This means that the price of packages can change each day due to changes from suppliers and airlines. To see the most updated prices, please check our website.

Booking is always confirmed

When you have given all the details and have received a booking number we will regard this as a confirmed reservation. In the case of changes or cancellations our terms and conditions will be in effect. So please take into account that a change or cancellation always includes additional costs. my sunweb In 'My Sunweb' you can review all kinds of information about your booking, like the status of your payment and the preliminary flight times (if known). It is also an easy way to read about your destination and accommodation and to settle online payments. If we have your email address you will receive an email with your log in name and password within 24 hours of making your booking. With this information you can log on to 'My Sunweb'.

Prices

The prices listed on www.sunweb.co.uk are per person and based on standard occupancy of the accommodation. For apartments this is the occupation listed in the price table and for hotels this is on the basis of a 2-persons bedroom. The prices can fluctuate during the season. Discount for children and a discount for an extra bed can not be given together. The listed prices of these local costs are an indication and can differ from the real price. If changes occur in any of the mentioned components Sunweb has the right to calculate these costs into the total price.

Advanced payment

After the booking you will receive a confirmation and the payment terms and conditions. The payment needs to be made within 10 days after booking. Please note that although there is a ten day window to pay the deposit, your booking is automatically confirmed. This means that even if you do not pay the deposit, cancellation fees will apply if you decide not to go on a holiday.

On the invoice you will find exactly what the deposit is for your booking. The remaining payment needs to be made six weeks prior to departure. Please keep to the amounts and the terms as stated on the invoice. If you book within six weeks prior to departure you are required to pay the total price all at once.

General payment and deposit

30% of the holiday price + travel insurance = deposit

The general deposit payment is 30% of the holiday price, and is due as soon as the invoice has been issued. The cost of the insurance also needs to be paid immediately. The remaining amount is to be paid to Sunweb Holidays 6 weeks prior to departure at the very latest. If you book a holiday with a departure date within 6 weeks time you need to pay the entire sum as soon as the invoice is received.

Payment and deposit (flights packages)

100% of the flight price + travel insurance 30% of the other package elements = deposit

The standard deposit is increased to secure the airline tickets and these are non-refundable. As soon as you book package including flights, you will be required to pay 100% of the flight price. In addition to the cost of the flights and travel insurance; you will have pay 30% of the other package elements (accommodation and lift passes etc). This amount is due as soon as the invoice is received. The cost of the insurance also needs to be paid immediately. The remaining amount is to be paid to Sunweb 6 weeks prior to departure. If you book a holiday with a departure date within 6 weeks time you need to pay the entire sum as soon as the invoice is received.

Online payment

You can choose to pay online. This is an easy and smart way to make a payment. At step 3 of your booking you can state if you want to make a payment directly online. After receiving the booking number, you will be directed to the secure area of internet banking with one click of the button. After booking you will receive a confirmation with an access code for 'My Sunweb'. Here you can also check up on your payment status. It is also possible to pay online in 'My Sunweb'.

Travel documents

When we have received the payment we will send you the travel documents approximately one week prior to departure. These documents include all details regarding your journey, your address abroad, etc. For sending the invoice and tickets via regular mail we charge £15 postage fees.

Tickets via email

Receiving the tickets via your email is an easy, fast and cheap way to get hold of your travel documents. You can print the tickets at home. With the printed copy of your flight ticket you can check in for your flight and with the printed copy of your accommodation voucher you can check into your accommodation. So checking in with a self printed ticket works the same way as with the tickets we print ourselves.

In many hotels it is possible to book a one person bedroom. You can find the prices on this website. Apartments cannot be booked by one person.

Accountability with booking

The person booking the holiday for themselves as well as any other participant included in the booking carries the main responsibility. All correspondence proceeds via the address of the party leader. Changes and cancellations need to be reported in writing by the party leader.
