La Plagne

Ski holidays in La Plagne take place in a fantastic ski resort consisting of 8 different villages with their own centres and distinct atmospheres. With 225km of pistes and an altitude varying between 1250m and 3250m, skiing in La Plagne offers plenty of great runs for everyone.

We offer a range of ski packages, from cheap and cosy to luxurious and all-inclusive, in various the villages of La Plagne When skiing in La Plagne, all of the villages are connected to each other and together they form a “ladder” up the mountain.

The liveliest of these villages is Bella Plagne, built in a forested area and proving there is much more than just skiing in La Plagne. Belle Plagne has various shops, excellent restaurants and fun après-ski bars. For many visitors, Belle Plagne is the most appealing village in the region. From the Plagne Centre the Funiplagne takes you to the top of the Grande Rochette in only four minutes and nearly all of the accommodations when skiing in La Plagne allow you to ski-in and ski-out, directly to and from your doorstep.

Plagne Soleil, in contrast to Bella Plagne, is a very peaceful village with great views over the mountains and the villages of Plagne Village below. Aside from the apartments and hotels there is a supermarket, a ski shop, a ski school and a restaurant with a bar.

The village of Aime 2000 is at the highest altitude of all the villages as it sits at the top of the mountain. When skiing in La Plagne a visit here will be rewarded with stunning views of Mont Blanc. From Aime 2000 you can access the piste directly or jump in a lift that takes you even higher up the mountain.

For families with children, Plagne Montalbert has proven very popular in recent years. The village is located at an altitude of 1375 meters on the other side of the mountain. It is a welcoming, simple village with a small centre and a few restaurants. We have no Sunweb staff present in this village.

The village of Les Coches is also located in the Paradiski resort at an altitude of 1450 meters. Here you can enjoy skiing through the trees on predominantly blue and red pistes.

Skiing in La Plagne

If you are staying on a ski holiday in La Plagne you can choose a lift pass for the resort of La Plagne or, for an extra fee, a lift pass for the entire resort of Paradiski. The Paradiski resort consists of La Plagne and Les Arcs/Peisey/Vallandry which are connected to each other by the Vanoise Express.

All flights ski packages to France include bronze ski equipment hire. However, it is often possible to upgrade your ski equipment to a ski package that suits your experience level.

La Plagne

  • Excellent off-piste possibilities
  • Wooded area
  • Vanoise Express: connection with Les Arcs

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire

A La Plagne ski pass is included in the tour price.

You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. If a child and senior discount applies, this will be shown in step 2 (price overview). Would you like to know which ski pass is included in your travel time? View our FAQ here .

Paradiski Illimité ski pass: With a 6- or 7-day ski pass for the extensive Paradiski area, you get a half-day ski pass for Paradiski for free. This is valid for the afternoon (12:30 - 17:00) on the day before the start of the ordered ski pass.

When you book, it is indicated for which days your ski pass is valid (e.g. Sunday to Friday). If you want your ski pass to start on a different day than indicated in the booking steps, you must contact our contact centre by telephone. The booking can then be adjusted. It is not possible to change your ski pass onsite.

Ski passes for children up to and including 4 years old are free. This discount can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.

Please note: From the age of 75, reduced rates apply locally, but you cannot book this ski pass through us. For this ski pass, you must pay approximately €10.00 per ski pass for administration costs onsite. If you are entitled to this ski pass, you must choose 'no ski pass' whilst booking. You can pick up this ski pass with a discount on presentation of your proof of identity.

Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem the ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of the ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further into the booking steps. The discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.

You can specify ski and snowboard rental directly when booking. Check out our FAQ  for more information about equipment rental.

When you book additional ski equipment of the 'Gold' or 'Diamond' class, you can exchange this once a week for snowboard equipment or free ride skis (not on weekends), for no additional charge.

Diamond

These are high performance skis and snowboards with the latest technology and are suitable for the most experienced skiers.

TIP:
Tell our rental partner your exact requirements (e.g., off-piste skiing) so that they can help you select the right equipment.

Lessons in Belle Plagne, Plagne Bellecôte, Plagne Soleil, Plagne Village, Plagne Centre, and Plagne 1800 can be specified directly when booking. See our FAQ  for more information about classes.
