No, you can not pay in cash on board. All payments are made via your board pass. There are two ways to pay via your board pass:
- You link your credit card to your board pass. You will find specific machines on board where you can easily link your credit card to your board pass. From that moment on you can use your board pass at the bars and restaurants etc. At the end of the cruise holiday you will receive the invoice and the amount will be written off from your credit card.
- You make a cash deposit at one of the machines (if available) or at the reception. Many cruise lines have a minimum amount of cash that you need to deposit. When you have deposited your money, you can use your board pass at the bars and restaurants, etc. You will receive the invoice at the end of the cruise holiday. Is there still a cash amount left on your board pass? At the end of your holiday you can go the one of the machines (if available) or the reception to get the remaining amount back in cash.No, you can not pay with cash.
