Excellent VAYA  Zillertal is a new, luxurious accommodation in Ashau. This is an ideal choice if you are looking for a base to explore the vast ski area of Zillertal. In fact, the Kaltenbach valley run is only 100 meters away and the Zillertalbahn is 300 meters away. The location of this hotel is just superb! This VAYA  hotel has luxurious rooms and suites, chic and all beautifully decorated. All beds in the hotel are comfortable king-size beds. All rooms have modern bathrooms, a minibar, a balcony or terrace with a view of the wintery surroundings. In addition, the suites also have their own sauna! As a guest of VAYA  Zillertal, you will have free access to the luxurious wellness facilities. There is a sauna, herbal sauna and a wonderful Turkish steam bath. Aschau

The charming village of Aschau is located in the Zillertal Valley between the villages of Kaltenbach and Zell am Ziller. From here you will have to go to one of the surrounding villages where you can access the ski bus to the ski area perfect for avid skiers. For après-ski, the best place is Mayrhofen at 13 kilometers away.

Certified FFP2 masks are mandatory to wear in: banks, shops, public transport, taxis, chairlifts and in all medical facilities. Also everywhere where 2 metres in distance is not achievable. The above obligation does not apply to children under 6 years of age and persons with certain illnesses, such as asthma. For children between 6 and 14 years old, a "normal" mouth mask is sufficient. In shops a ‘normal’ mouth mask is also sufficient for adults.

Travelling by car:

Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

The voltage is 230 volt.

Lift pass, lessons and material

In step 2 of the booking process it is indicated for which days the lift pass is valid. If you want to use the ski lift on a different day than indicated in step 2 of the booking process, please contact our contact centre by telephone. It is not possible to change the days of the lift pass once you have arrived at the destination. If you wish to extend the lift pass, it can often be booked as an extra. The price for extending the lift pass can be found in step 2 of the booking. If you choose “no lift pass”, the discount can also be found in step 2 of the booking process.

Discounts:

Children born after 01-01-2016 will get a free lift pass. Children born between 01-01-2003 and 31-12-2015 will get a discount on their lift pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your fare, in step 3 of the booking process.Above mentioned discounts are only valid when booking through Sunweb. At the destinations other rates may apply.
