San Candido is located near the Austrian border in the region of the Drei Zinnen Dolomites; the threefold peaks are recognised as UNESCO World Heritage. The ski area has been awarded several times and is, therefore, the ideal place for skiing. In addition, it is also a beautiful area! San Candido is mainly known for cross-country skiing, skiing is possible on the family-friendly (beginners) slope Haunold. For the more advanced, the ski area of the Drei Zinnen is recommended.
Do you want to do something different for a day off the slopes? San Candido has a nice centre. Thanks to the lively pedestrian zone you can enjoy walking and shopping. Nice restaurants and bars can be found in the centre. Definitely worth a visit here!
