Selections Résidence Les Chalets de Flambeau is considered to be one of the most luxurious options in the charming village of Val Cenis. The apartments are spread across 8 traditional chalets, on the slopes. Les Chalets de Flambeau is on the edge of town and within easy walking distance of the brand-new lift and picturesque village.
The apartments are lavishly furnished, with all possible comforts considered. The beds are extremely comfortable so you are guaranteed a peaceful sleep. The kitchen is very well-equipped with many appliances which will make self-catering easy during your holiday. You can order delicious bread and pastries from the reception of the residence even though there is an independent bakery right next to the building if fancy collecting your own bread for the day. In addition to a bakery, ski shop and ESF ski school there is a variety of businesses based in the residence to make sure you never have to go very far.
The residence has its own spa. It is also possible to book treatments such as massages and facials (extra fees apply).
There is a wonderful indoor swimming pool as well as a special kids pool next to the wellness center which is free for all guests. Jacuzzi’s, hammams and saunas are available for the older guests to enjoy after a long day exploring this fantastic ski area. The swimming pool has a lovely view of the mountains and the trees – it is impossible to forget that you are right on the slopes of the beautiful Val Cenis.

- There is a daycare in the building next to the Residence and is provided by ESF. It is free of charge and children from 3 months old up to and including 12 years old are welcome here.

Safety on the slopes:
In France, wearing a helmet is not mandatory but recommended (especially for children). In ski classes (for all ages), it is often compulsory.

You must be in possession of a valid passport in order to travel to France.
Food and Drinks:
Cheese, croissants, baguettes and wine! It is possible to drink tap water.
Opening hours:
As a general rule, the shops are open on Monday/Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. However, some shops may close over lunchtime. On Sunday and Monday, a selection of shops are closed. Some supermarkets are open on Sunday mornings.

Travelling by car:
Most motorways in France require you to pay a toll fee. The Pas Piccolo San Bernardo is closed the whole winter (November - June). Always check the locat weather reports before departing.
In some cities and towns it is obligaroty to have a "environmentsl sticker". It is not possible to buy these stickers en route. You will have to order them online before you leave home. French authorities advise you to print out the form and the confirmation of the sticker if it does not arrive at your home in time. You can find the form on:

Ski passes for children up to 4 years old are free. This discount can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
