Skiing in Val Cenis

General information

Thanks to its connection with Termignon La Vanoise, Val Cenis has grown a lot over the years. It has turned into a vast resort with 125km of great pistes for both novice and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. By Col de Mont Cenis, at the border between France and Italy, 19 ski lifts connect the villages of Val Cenis Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard.

The lower pistes are easy and run for the most part through the forests. From the ski station at 2100 metres altitude, you can access wide and varied pistes in a snow-sure area up to an altitude of 2800 metres. We recommend the Arcelle, a fantastic ski route from l’Ouillon de la Tomba at the de top of the resort, back down to Lanslevillard.

Snowboarders and freestyle skiers can test their skills in one of the two snow parks located near the Familiale and St. Pierre pistes. In addition, Val Cenis also has some great off-piste descents.
