Skiing in Val Cenis

About Val Cenis

Val Cenis is in a beautiful location between the Vanoise National Park in France and the Avigliana Regional Park in Italy. It is easily accessible, snow-sure, and when there is enough snow, you can even ski right up to the door of your accommodation. The Val Cenis ski area consists of several charming villages: Lanslebourg, Lanslevillard, Les Champs, and Termignon.

Lanslebourg is a small village with a few hotels, while Lanslevillard is known for its excellent restaurants, atmospheric bars, nightclub, and ice rink. For relaxation, there is also a swimming pool, sauna, and a public thermal bath in the village. Termignon is popular with nature lovers and those seeking some peace and quiet, but it is still only 10 minutes’ drive from the centre of Val Cenis. Les Champs is a charming and quiet part of Val Cenis, ideal for those who want to experience the culture of the region.

There are two sledge runs for children in the ski area and torch-lit hikes are organised weekly. The Val Cenis ski area is also an ideal destination for hikers, with approximately 29 kilometres of hiking trails and snowshoe hikes organised from the village.
