Skiing in Fügen

The charming winter sport village of Fügen, with its historic old town is located at the entrance of the Zillertal, just 9 kilometers from the highway to Innsbruck. The Spieljoch gondola lift runs to the west of Fugen and has a difference in altitude of 1200 meters in order to provide the connection to the Spieljoch area. At 1900 meters you can benefit from the other lifts and gondolas and lifts and you can enjoy the beautiful, often sunny slopes. For the little ones there is childcare available. In the village you will find the nursery slope and a toboggan run that is two kilometres long. Both the slopes and the practice area are equipped with a number of snow cannons, so you can spend the beginning of the season, as well as the end of the season with good snow conditions. For snowboarders there is a fun park and lots of off-piste possibilities. The ski resorts of Spieljoch and Hochfügen, has been interconnected through the Panoramabahn Geols from December 2015. This allows you to explore the whole Fügen/ Hochfügen - Hochzillertal region with the same ski pass. After a ride in the new lift, you're a 10 minute bus ride away from the slopes of Hochfügen.

After an active day on the slopes, you can enjoy one of the excellent cozy bars or discos in Fugen, in for example the well-known disco Badwandl  or Paletten. Furthermore, in Fugen you will also find some nice restaurants and bars. For an active après-ski you can visit one of the two natural ice rinks and toboggan runs.
