<p>Kaltenbach is a cozy place in the Ziller Valley, 17 km from Mayrhofen, with a great ice rink and a children's creche. There is a direct lift connection with Hochfugen. The après-ski is mainly situated in the bars around the gondola at the Postalm or the Tiroler Stadl. You will also find a pizzeria. Food and drink prices in Kaltenbach are lower than most other resorts.</p><p>The Hochzillertal has wide slopes and on Wednesday and Friday evenings the piste is illuminated at Kaltenbach for night skiing. It is also possible to walk to a beautiful waterfall in 30 minutes.</p>
