Sporthotel Kitz is centrally located in Brück, close to the ski bus stop. The beautiful ski area of Zell am See-Kaprun, which is just over 3 miles away, is easily accessible via the ski bus. After an active day in the snow, you can return home to the hotel and relax in the sauna or infrared cabin. There is also a cosy hotel bar you can visit for a refreshing drink.

Board basis
Breakfast consists of an extensive breakfast buffet including homemade products. Dinner (6x a week) consists of a 4-course menu. Once a week there is a themed evening. The owners pay a lot of attention to the dishes, focusing particularly on regional cuisine and seasonal products.
Please note that on Wednesdays, the kitchen is closed and dinner is not served.

Location and surroundings
Bruck
Bruck is a smaller village located between the town of Zell am See and Kaprun, and lies at the foot of the impressive Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse. This peaceful village, part of the Zell am See – Kaprun Ski Region is a good alternative to the very touristic destinations of Kaprun (approx. 4 kilometers) and Zell am See (approx. 3 kilometers). There is a ski lift 3 kilometers down the road from Bruck that grants access to the slopes. Bruck is also popular for hikers who will enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
In the centre of Bruck there are a few bars/pubs and restaurants. There is a flood-lit luge track and an ice skating rink but there is not much late night après-ski in Bruck. However, if you do fancy partying until the early hours then Kaprun and Zell am See are just around the corner!

Skiing in Zell am See – Kapruns, gives skiers the opportunity to ski in the Hausberg and the Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See, the family-friendly Maiskogel in Kaprun and the glacier Kitzsteinhorn. You can reach the Schmittenhöhe with one of the three gondolas from Zell am See, or the Areit gondola from Schüttdorf. The top of the mountain reveals the best thing about skiing in Zell am See – Kaprun, the breath-taking panoramic views that form the thirty 3000m summits around the mountain.
Family-friendly areas are not hard to find on a Zell am See – Kaprun ski holiday. Schüttdorf has a Kid’s World which is perfect for children to learn how to manage the slopes and Maiskogel, with its extensive slopes and alpine roller coaster, is perfect for a family with younger children.
Above the glacier Kitzsteinhorn you have a wonderful view of the highest peaks of Austria. The slopes there are beautiful and the tops always capped with natural snow. With a total of 138km of slopes including 32km of black runs and numerous red trails and blue slopes, skiing in Zell am See – Kaprun, offers something for everyone. Even from the summit station of the glacier at 3029m, both beginners and experienced skiers can descend at their own pace.
Aside from skiing on a Zell am See – Kaprun ski holiday, you also have a huge selection of other winter sports activities such as cross-country skiing, tubing, or a serene hike through a picturesque winter wonderland. Cross-country skiers can discover 230km of cross-country ski trails of the famous Pinzgau-Loipe. For snowboarders, the region offers both a halfpipe and a fun park. You can even choose to go ice skating on the lake to Thumersbach if the weather permits.
In the evening, Zell am See-Kaprun has lots to offer with a lively atmosphere. In the bars of Kaprun or on the lakeside promenade in Zell am See, you can relax after a busy day on the slopes with a refreshing après-ski drink.

The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2018 are free. Children born between 01/01/2005 and 31/12/2017 will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
