Hopfgarten

Hopfgarten, with its narrow alleys, is a really charming village. Hopfgarten is ideal for begginners and for snowboarders the slopes between Hopfgarten and Söll are great. Hopfgarten offers a floodlit toboggan run, an ice rink, a fitness center, hiking trails and there are torch walking tours. For cross-country skiers Hopfgarten is a lovely resort, with the best trails passing through here. The nightlife is very cozy. There are approximately 18 restaurants, bars and nightclubs.

Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

A Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski pass is included in the holiday price.

You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Ski passes for children born after January 1, 2020, are free. Children born between January 1, 2007, and December 31, 2019, receive a discount. These discounts are reflected in the calculation of your travel price. Proof of identity is required when collecting your ski pass.

These surcharges and discounts are only valid at the time of booking. Different rates apply on-site. It is not possible to change the date of your ski pass on-site. Extended ski passes can often be booked separately; the price for this can be found later in the booking process. The discount for "no ski pass" is also reflected in the booking process.
