Skiing is central to Zürs am Arlberg, and it's not hard to see why. The snow-surety in the area is unmatched, so you can enjoy a long season of skiing there. The slopes vary in difficulty, so that both beginners and seasoned skiers can enjoy themselves. Whether you are looking for wide and easy slopes to practice your skills on, or the challenge of some more adrenaline pumping runs, Zürs has it all!
What makes Zürs so unique is its lack of a traditional centre and shops. Instead, you'll find a selection of beautiful hotels and atmospheric restaurants, all conveniently located right by the slopes. This means you'll be one of the first to hit the slopes each morning, without wasting time travelling from the centre to the ski area. The sense of freedom from the untouched nature all around you is not to be missed.
Arlberg Skiregion
Ski holidays in the Arlberg skiregion, to which St Anton belongs, offers one of the biggest and most spectacular ski areas in Austria. The condition of the pistes is usually excellent and skiing back down to the resort centre is nearly always possible.
The Galzig cable cars have made skiing in the Arlberg skiregion very accessible. The highly experienced skiers and snowboarders can also enjoy the practically limitless off piste options when on a ski holiday in the Arlberg skiregion. The Arlberg lift pass also grants entrance to the resorts of Lech and Zürs. These are not directly connected but can still be reached easily with the, very well organised, ski buses. Besides the extra pistes, skiing in Lech offers you the opportunity to check out this famous village, with beautiful shops and a centre steeped in tradition.

Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.
Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

The voltage is 230 volt.

UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.
Travel documents:
You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.

The transfer
It is possible to book a transfer during the booking process. The average transfer time to Lech is approximately 2 hours. In step 2 of your booking, you can also select "no transfer". You will then receive a discount for that. You can see the amount discounted in step 2 of your booking.

A Ski Arlberg ski pass is included in the tour price.
You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2016 are free. Children born between 01/01/2004 - 31/12/2015, and seniors born up to and including 31/12/1959, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
