Sunweb guarantees a cash refund if the travel advice changes due to COVID-19

Are you planning on booking a ski holiday but are concerned that you will not get your money back if the situation changes with regards to COVID-19? Do you have a Refund Credit Note and are hesitant to rebook because you don't want to get another one as a result of COVID-19? If so, there is no need to worry! At Sunweb, we may not know what the official travel advice will be, but we have been working hard to make sure the run-up to your holiday is as stress-free as possible by committing to a Cash Refund Guarantee for all bookings. 

 

Our guarantee for a full cash refund for all bookings

  • If the foreign travel advice for your destination changes 14 days before your departure, due to COVID-19, you will get a cash refund. 
  • All refunds will be returned directly to your bank account within 14 days, even if you booked the holiday using a Refund Credit Note or Holiday Refund Note.
  • As soon as our Cash Refund Guarantee applies to you within two weeks before your departure, we will contact you via e-mail. 
  • If you book a last-minute holiday (within 6 weeks of departure) and your destination has negative travel advice, our cash refund guarantee does not apply. You can still take advanatge of our Premium Exchange Guarantee and rebook your holiday up to 2 weeks before departure.
