Hotel & Gasthof Perauer

In an idyllic location close to the centre of Mayrhofen and right next to the new Ahornbahn cable car, you will find the charming family hotel Perauer. Everything about this inn from the early 1970s exudes authenticity: from the rustic building with wooden balconies in Tyrolean style to the cosy Stube and sustainable restaurant. Franz and Barbara are second-generation owners and give each guest a warm welcome in traditional costume. The 24 rooms of this cosy guesthouse were renovated entirely last summer. Still, the original atmosphere has been preserved: the rooms have been lovingly furnished in a country style. Comfort is paramount at Gasthof Perauer, which you notice in the 'wellness' mattresses with crisp white sheets and thick duvets. You can unabashedly plop down after a day of skiing. After all that exercise in the open air, apricot jenever distilled by the family tastes extra good. And stiff muscles can be warmed up in the spa with an infrared cabin, steam bath, sauna and relaxation room with a hammock. Gasthof Perauer's restaurant has been highly regarded for decades, including among locals. This is mainly due to the own butcher's shop with meat from the Zillertal. But organic ingredients from local farmers are also processed by chef Mike into simple Tyrolean dishes and international classics. And then there's The Butcher Bar. A modern and cosy hotspot where guests and locals meet and where you can enjoy schnapps and dry-aged beef.
