Hotel Lohmann is an excellent hotel in a snow-sure part of Obergurgl. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and many facilities that the hotel has to offer. It is situated just 50 metres from the centre and only 300 metres from the nearest ski lift. It is an ideal place to stay for ski enthusiasts, but there are also many other fun activities available. Families with children will be well entertained, as the hotel offers many fun activities for all ages. For example, there is a mini club and a colourful play area for the kids (with a climbing wall and a ball pool) and adult guests can unwind in the relaxing wellness centre.
For a well-earned drink, head to the cosy après-ski bar at Hotel Lohmann. After a long day of skiing, you can relax in the sauna, steam bath, or whirlpool, or even book yourself a soothing massage. In the mornings and in the evenings, a delicious buffet will be waiting for you in the modern restaurant, and an afternoon snack is available in between if you get peckish. Water, soft drinks, beer, and table wine are included with dinner.
Please note: Hotel Lohmann has childcare service available from Sunday - Friday, 12:00 - 20:00. There is also a drop-off and pick-up service to and from the ski school during lunch break. At the hotel, there is also an amazing children's playroom, complete with a climbing wall and a ball pit.

If you're looking for a great skiing holiday in Austria, Obergurgl is definitely a fantastic option. This charming ski resort is located in beautiful Ötztal and offers you great ski slopes, guaranteed snow, and a wide selection of excellent accommodation. What distinguishes Obergurgl from other ski areas in Europe is its snow-surety. Due to the elevation of its slopes, which reach up to 3,080 metres, there is almost always snow on them. But it's not all about snow conditions. Obergurgl also has an impressive range of pistes and skiing routes, with over 110 kilometres of ski slopes on offer. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, there is something for everyone.
In addition to the slopes, you’ll also be spoilt for choice in places to stay. From luxurious hotels to cosy apartments and chalets, there are options for all types of travellers. Obergurgl is also a great place for some fun. You will find many lovely alpine cabins and restaurants there, right by the slopes. Find a spot on one of their sunny terraces to experience the true charm of Obergurgl. If you don’t feel like skiing, you can also go snowshoeing and soak-up the stunning mountain views. After returning from the slopes, you can enjoy the vibrant après-ski scene at the hotels, bars, and stubes, including live music at some of the nightclubs.

Opening times shops:
Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.
Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

The voltage is 230 volt.
Mobile telephone:
UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.
Travel documents:
You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire
An Öztal Sölden-Obergurgl/Hochgurgl ski pass is included in the tour price. Ski passes of 3 days duration or longer are automatically valid for the entirety of Ötztal (an Ötztal Super Skipass).

Discounts for 2023/2024:
Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2020 are free. Children born between 01/01/2004 - 31/12/2019, and seniors born up to and including 31/12/1949, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.

This equipment is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The equipment is particularly manoeuvrable, so it makes turning and braking easy. Parallel skiing is also possible with these skis.
Silver
This is ideal equipment for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The equipment is manoeuvrable and suitable for cutting corners sharply. Even at high speeds, these skis provide great performance.
Gold
These skis and snowboards are made of high-quality material and are perfect for experienced skiers. They can also be used by skiers who have mastered parallel skiing. This comfortable equipment is suitable for all track types and snow conditions.
Diamond
These are high performance skis and snowboards with the latest technology and are suitable for the most experienced skiers.
