VVF Club La Plagne Montchavin consists of several apartments located in the heart of the picturesque Montchavin. These beautiful and spacious apartments are located directly by the slopes, so on your final descent you can keep skiing straight to your door. The nearest ski lift is about 200 metres away, so you can reach the top of the slopes in no time. From your apartment, you will have a magnificent view of Mont Blanc and the Paradiski area. In the centre of Montchavin, you will find many excellent restaurants in which to sample the local cuisine. Children can be kept entertained at the kid's club. Fun activities are organised there every day, adapted to suit different age groups. It will be easy for your little ones to make friends whilst you go and enjoy yourself. *In the mornings (until 12:00) and in the afternoons (from 14:00), kids can partake in the mini club and kids club free of charge.
*Children’s entertainment, the mini club, and the kids club are run in French. The kids club is available during the school holidays (from 23/12/2023 to 06/01/2024, from 10/02/2024 to 09/03/2024, and from 30/03/2024 to 21/04/2024). The kids club is also divided into separate age groups: 3 months - 2 years old, 3 - 6 years old, 7 - 10 years old, 11 - 14 years old, and 15 - 17 years old.
*It is not possible to use a travel cot (or any cot) in the 2-room apartment type B & the 3-room apartment type A/B.

Montchavin
Ski holidays in Montchavin, France take place at an altitude of 1250m in the vast ski area of Paradiski. It is originally an old farming village and still maintains an authentic, historic French ambience.
When skiing in Montchavin, you will notice that most of the accommodations are built in a traditional chalet style and you won’t find any high rise buildings within the streets in the centre. There are instead many narrow streets, quaint squares and cheap shops which help to create a unique winter atmosphere.

A UK mobile phone should work in France. The setup for this may differ per provider, so it is best to inquire about this before hand.
Safety on the slopes:
In France, wearing a helmet is not mandatory but recommended (especially for children). In ski classes (for all ages), it is often compulsory.
Travel documents:
You must be in possession of a valid passport in order to travel to France.
Food and Drinks:
Cheese, croissants, baguettes and wine! It is possible to drink tap water.
Opening hours:
As a general rule, the shops are open on Monday/Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. However, some shops may close over lunchtime. On Sunday and Monday, a selection of shops are closed. Some supermarkets are open on Sunday mornings.

Travelling by car:
Most motorways in France require you to pay a toll fee. The Pas Piccolo San Bernardo is closed the whole winter (November - June). Always check the locat weather reports before departing.
In some cities and towns it is obligaroty to have a "environmentsl sticker". It is not possible to buy these stickers en route. You will have to order them online before you leave home. French authorities advise you to print out the form and the confirmation of the sticker if it does not arrive at your home in time. You can find the form on:

A La Plagne Plus ski pass is included in the tour price.

Ski passes for children up to 4 years old are free. Seniors from 75 years old will receive a discount. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.

This equipment is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The equipment is particularly manoeuvrable, so it makes turning and braking easy. Parallel skiing is also possible with these skis.
Silver
This is ideal equipment for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The equipment is manoeuvrable and suitable for cutting corners sharply. Even at high speeds, these skis provide great performance.
Gold
These skis and snowboards are made of high-quality material and are perfect for experienced skiers. They can also be used by skiers who have mastered parallel skiing. This comfortable equipment is suitable for all track types and snow conditions.
Diamond
These are high performance skis and snowboards with the latest technology and are suitable for the most experienced skiers.
