General information

A ski holiday in Alpe d’Huez takes place in one of the largest French ski holiday resorts and is divided into several popular districts. The village lies at an altitude of 1860m and offers a great ranging of activities for those looking to do more than just skiing in Alpe d’Huez. Plus, the slopes are easily accessible by one of the many lifts around the village.

Skiing in Alpe d’Huez

Alpe d’Huez is a part of the vast Alpe d’Huez Grand Domaine Ski area. This area has a total of over 250km of ski slopes and 45 different lifts. It also includes the resorts of Oz, Vaujany and Auris-en-Oisans. With a top height of 3330m and featuring a glacier, the ski area is fairly snow sure through out the whole of the winter season. In total it has over 100km combined of blue and green slopes, making it a perfect destination for beginner skiers/snowboarders.
