In the traditional hotel Sonnenspitze, you can still experience authentic Tyrolean hospitality. This cosy family hotel is located in the centre of Ehrwald with various shops, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Upon entering, you will notice that there is much attention to detail. There is a lovely reception, lobby, two dining rooms, a hotel bar and a terrace for sunny days. Both the double rooms and the spacious family rooms are furnished with care. They have a neat bathroom and a balcony with a view of the beautiful surroundings.
In the hotel's wellness area, you can warm up in the afternoon in the sauna, steam bath, bubble bath, or infrared cabin. At the same time, the children have fun in the playroom. In addition to being the largest village in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena ski area, Ehrwald is also the most famous village in this area. Ehrwald has moved with the times in recent years but remains an authentic and cosy village.
Due to many facilities for children, this village is very popular amongst families with (small) children. In this well-arranged ski area, you will find many wide, blue slopes where little ones can learn to ski.
The five villages, Berwang, Erhwald, Biberwier, Lermoos and Bichlbach, are located in the vast Tyrolean valley, only a few kilometres apart. The area around these villages is the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.
The ski area meets everyone's wishes, but the emphasis is mainly on the easy and intermediate slopes. There are more than 140 kilometres of slopes at your disposal. This area is very snow-sure, thanks in part to the presence of a glacier. In the Mariënberg section near Biberwier, there is a children's lift and a fun park with a 1/4 pipe, a pro-jump and a wave. Lermoos also has a nice fun park and a children's lift.
Whether you are looking for a simple guest house outside the centre, or a super luxurious hotel in the middle of the bustling centre, or a fully equipped chalet in the Ehrwald area; Ehrwald has it all. Sunweb also offers you a wide choice of accommodations! How about: Der Grüner Baum or the well-maintained Hotel Sonnenspitz?
