Skiing in Ehrwald

General information

In addition to being the largest village in the Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena ski area, Ehrwald is also the most famous village in this area. Ehrwald has moved with the times in recent years but remains an authentic and cosy village.

Due to many facilities for children, this village is very popular amongst families with (small) children. In this well-arranged ski area, you will find many wide, blue slopes where little ones can learn to ski.

Ehrwald Ski – Tyrolean Zugspitz Arena

The five villages, Berwang, Erhwald, Biberwier, Lermoos and  Bichlbach, are located in the vast Tyrolean valley, only a few kilometres apart. The area around these villages is the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena.

The ski area meets everyone's wishes, but the emphasis is mainly on the easy and intermediate slopes. There are more than 140 kilometres of slopes at your disposal. This area is very snow-sure, thanks in part to the presence of a glacier. In the Mariënberg section near Biberwier, there is a children's lift and a fun park with a 1/4 pipe, a pro-jump and a wave. Lermoos also has a nice fun park and a children's lift.
