Galtür is, with a height of 1,584 meters, one of the highest ski resorts of Austria and the highest in the Silvretta region. The high altitude makes this a very snow-sure resort. The small, picturesque village is built in a Tyrolean style that is over 600 years old. The village has a child friendly character and is therefore very popular with Austrian families. The 'Siggiland' specifically for children is not for adults. Galtür is a lot quieter than the nearby Ischgl, but a trip to the ski resort does not take long. Galtür offers options for everyone, both young and old. You can enjoy cross country on the atmospheric trails, skating and hiking. Would you prefer a slightly bigger challenge? Go paragliding and see the ski resort even from the air! Almost every Wednesday there is the legendary 'night ski show'. Do you like cozy après-ski? then Galtür is perfect for you. Here the real party animals will not get bored as there is a number of clubs that are open until the early hours.
