Galtür is, with a height of 1,584 meters, one of the highest ski resorts of Austria and the highest in the Silvretta region. The high altitude makes this a very snow-sure resort. The small, picturesque village is built in a Tyrolean style that is over 600 years old. The village has a child friendly character and is therefore very popular with Austrian families.
