Selections Hotel Lizum 1600 Snowsport Tirol is located directly by the slopes and only 10 minutes from Axams. The modern rooms offer a high-quality bathroom and a flat-screen TV.
In the afternoon, you can treat yourself to a well-deserved drink in the in-house après-ski bar. Fancy some relaxation? A Finnish sauna, a steam bath and a solarium await you in the wellness area. In the evenings, you can enjoy a delicious dinner in the atmospheric restaurant. Every day, a varied buffet will be waiting for you.
Free use of ski storage once per room.
This small-scale ski area has more than 40km of slopes, most of which are red. The area became known from the Innsbruck Olympic Games in 1964 and 1976.
Axamer Lizum is not too expensive and has almost no queues. In addition to the pistes there are plenty of possibilities next to the slopes for off-piste skiers and boarders. The most beautiful ski slope in the ski area is the blue 1, a beautiful long descent.

Opening times shops:
Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.
Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

The voltage is 230 volt.
Mobile telephone:
UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.
Travel documents:
You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.

Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2018 are free. Children born between 01/01/2005 - 31/12/2017, and seniors born up to and including 31/12/1957, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
