Kirchdorf

The romantic, children friendly small skiing village of Kirchdorf is situated in the middle of the Kitzbuhler Alps at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser. The pleasant Tyrolean village is situated at a height of 641 metres and is a paradise for langlauf fanatics, walkers and skiing beginners. Sunny launglauf routes and countless prepared walking trails lead past many hotels and pensions. But there is more to do. There is tobogganing, curling and you can also take a ride on a romantic arren sleigh. Create your own individual experiences in Kirchdorf. A great finale, after a fantastic winter’s day, is to visit the public wellness centre, The Kauiserquell. Enjoy pure relaxation in this modern spa. Although Kirchdorf is a small skiing village, the après ski scene is very lively. The village is very popular with the Dutch and it can be lively into the small hours. Have a few drinks in de Oldy Bar or de Mauth de Castell . Kirchdorf is situated five kilometres from St. Johann in Tyrol and the famous Kitzbuhel is fifteen kilometres way.
