Skiing in Jungfrau Region

About Jungfrau Region

The Jungfrau Region is formed by the resorts of Grindelwald, Wengen and Mürren. You have at various places in this resort a great view of the Eiger (3970 m), Mönch (4099 m) and Jungfrau (4158 m). This area, with a total track length of up to 229 kilometers, is a paradise for both beginners and advanced skiers.

The ski resorts of Wengen and Grindelwald lie very close to each other and almost all slopes are serviced by lifts, eventhough you'll occasionally need to use a ski bus. You will not find many Dutch tourists in the Jungfrau Region ski area, as the area is visited mainly by the Swiss themselves. The beautifully situated villages here have cozy après-ski possibilities.

Highly recommended for advanced skiers is the glacier trip where you create a challenging and adventurous route over the glaciers of the Jungfrau Region led by a guide. In addition, this place has a large cross-country ski area. All this makes Jungfrau Region a varied ski area .
