Hotel Alpine Lodge Trübsee enjoys a truly unique location. It’s not nestled in the charming village center of Engelberg, but halfway up the mountain—right in the middle of the slopes. From here, you can take in magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. In the morning, you can head straight out for a day on the slopes, and when you’re done, simply ski right back to the hotel. Then unwind on the spacious sun terrace with a delicious après-ski drink.
The rooms are modernly furnished, yet retain a nostalgic charm with their cow prints and vintage photos, which are found throughout the hotel. Had a little too much fun on the slopes? Treat your muscles to some well-deserved rest in the sauna, so you’ll be refreshed and ready for your first run the next day.

Please note: This hotel is located at the top of the mountain and is only accessible by lift. The ride takes 20 minutes. Please note that the last lift from Engelberg to the hotel is at 4:30 PM and the first lift from the hotel to the village is at 8:30 AM.
To reach the hotel, you need a valid ski pass. When booking, select the ski pass valid on your arrival and departure day.

You will have approx. 94 kilometres of piste to enjoy in total. The individual parts of the ski area are connected via a free ski bus service, which runs every ten minutes during the high season.

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire
A Engelberg – Titlis incl. Brunni ski pass is included in the holiday price.
You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Ski passes for children up to and including 5 years old are free. Children from 6 - 19 years old will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
You cannot book lessons in advance. You can arrange this yourself onsite.
