General information

Cavalese is located at an altitude of 1000 meters and in the middle of Val di Fiemme. The ski slopes are relatively easy and therefore ideal for beginners and children. From Cavalese you can take the gondola to Alpe Cermis, where you will find some easy and beautiful slopes. This historic village has everything you need for a great skiing holiday. Stroll through the historic centre and discover the nice shops, pubs, wine bars and historic buildings. Highly recommended is the Palazzo della Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, which used to be a witch prison. Today it is the centre for contemporary art. Fancy a real Italian dinner? Then go for an evening dinner at one of the renowned restaurants. Cavalese is situated on a sun terrace, so it is often sunny here. In winter you can enjoy plenty of sports in this place. For those who don't like skiing, for example, there is an ice rink and a pool with hot tubs.
