Skiing in San Giovanni di Fassa
About San Giovanni di Fassa
The two villages of Vigo di Fassa and Pozza di Fassa in the Dolomites have been merged under a new name: San Giovanni di Fassa.
It is a high-altitude village at the beginning of Val di Fassa, one of the most famous ski areas in the Dolomites. The area is particularly attractive for families with children. There is a children’s park with practice slopes where kids can learn to ski at their own pace in a fun and safe environment.
With the modern cable car, you can reach Ciampedie at 2,000 meters in no time, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. Winters here are truly unforgettable—snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and fantastic ski touring are all possible here.
