The village of Praz sur Arly is located a few miles down the road from the well known ski resort of Megève. Novices can learn the basic skiing and snowboarding techniques in the area of La Rosière down by the village. For the advanced skier and snowboarder there are great options higher up the mountain towards Crêt du Midi and Ban Rouge which can both be reached with the chair lift Varoche.
