St. Jean d’Arves is a fantastic ski holiday option, and it is no wonder why it is steadily becoming one of the most popular destinations in France. Just like the other villages in Les Sybelles, St. Jean d'Arves is typically French. In the past few seasons there have been several new accommodations constructed in the village that are walking distance to both the ski slopes and lifts.
St. Jean d’Arves is part of the large Les Sybelles ski area. This also includes the resorts La Toussuire, Le Corbier and St. Sorlin d’Arves. The area has over 310km of ski slopes, comprised mostly of red and blue runs. This means that it is well suited for intermediate skier/snowboarders. For cross country skiers there is also around 42km of different trails.
The resort itself has many great restaurants, and après ski bars with sunny terraces. For those who like to pamper themselves, there is a free bus that runs to the nearby St. Sorlin d’Arves which has a large spa centre. There are also more bar options here for party animals.
Sunweb has a great assortment of ski accommodation packages in St. Jean d’Arves. From all inclusive hotels to simple, affordable apartments there are options to suit all budgets and group sizes.
