Berwang

The attractive town of Berwang is at an altitude of 1336 metres and is therefore also the highest village in the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena. Berwang is an ideal base for a perfect winter holiday, especially for families with children. Berwang-Bilbach provides approximately 24 miles of pistes, making it the largest ski area in the Tyrolean Zugspitze Arena. Besides skiing, there are also many hiking trails. Do you enjoy other sports? Then there is also a skating rink, a public swimming pool, and two toboggan runs. In the evening, the village comes to life. There are several bars and restaurants to choose from, and a nightclub. Enjoy Austrian hospitality and excellent après-ski in Berwang.

Map

Tiroler Zugspitz Arena

In a large Tyrolean valley, just a few kilometers away from each other, lie the five villages Berwang, Erhwald, Biberwier, Lermoos Bichlbach. The area around these villages is the Zugspitz Arena.

This area is, thanks to the presence of a glacier, snow-sure. In total there are more than 140 kilometers of trails at your disposal. The ski meets everyone's liking but the focus is on the easy and intermediate runs. In the section Mariënberg in Biberwier is a children's lift and a fun park with a quarter pipe, a pro-jump and wave. Also in Lermoos is a great fun park and a children's lift.
