The Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee together form one of Austria’s most snow-sure ski areas. Thanks to the glacier, which rises to over 3,400 metres, the winter sports season starts early and often lasts well into spring. Wide pistes, modern lifts and magnificent views make this area the perfect choice for winter sports enthusiasts looking for consistently good snow conditions and peaceful slopes.
The combination of the Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee offers plenty of variety. The glacier features long, wide pistes that are ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders, while Rifflsee is known for its quiet slopes and relaxed atmosphere. Beginners can practise here in peace and quiet, and families will quickly feel at home. The two areas are easily connected by a free ski bus.
In addition to skiing, the Pitztal Valley offers an authentic Austrian winter atmosphere. Cosy mountain huts, sunny terraces and a stunning Alpine landscape create a complete winter sports experience. After a day on the slopes, you can unwind with lively après-ski or enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. This makes the Pitztal Glacier and Rifflsee an excellent choice for anyone looking for a snow-sure, varied and relaxing winter sports destination with Sunweb.
