The luxurious Hotel Riml enjoys a spectacular location at an altitude of 2,200 metres. It has beautiful views of the surrounding peaks of Ötztal and features a lovely outdoor pool. In this adults-only hotel, you can completely relax in the extensive wellness area and enjoy the tastiest Austrian and international dishes each day in the fantastic restaurant. The hotel exudes a traditional alpine atmosphere, but with the luxury of stylish and modern rooms.

Hochgurgl
Hochgurgl lies together with Obergurgl at the end of the Ötztal. It is a small place with several luxury hotels. Hochgurgl is the highest place in Austria and is located in a beautiful area. With the cable car 'Top-Express', you float quickly towards Obergurgl.
Due to the snow security of the ski area, many winter sports enthusiasts come this way every winter. There are several restaurants and entertainment options. After skiing, you can enjoy a drink in one of the après-ski bars.

Opening times shops:
Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.
Travelling by car:
Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.

The voltage is 230 volt.

UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.

You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.

You will fly into Innsbruck. This flight takes approximately 1 hour and 35 minutes. Meals and drinks are not included during the flight.
Transfer
In the booking steps it is possible to book a transfer. If you book a transfer via Sunweb, it will be a shared transfer to and from the resort. The average transfer time to Obergurgl is approximately 1.5 hours.

A Öztal Sölden-Obergurgl/Hochgurgl ski pass is included in the tour price. With a 3-day ski pass or more, the Ötztal Super Skipass is included. A 2-day ski pass is only valid in Obergurgl/Hochgurgl.

Discounts 2023/2024:
Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2020 are free. Children born between 01/01/2004 - 31/12/2019, and seniors born up to and including 31/12/1949, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.
Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
