Lienz

Lienz is a picturesque Tyrolean town with a beautiful old center. It is located at the foot of the Lienz Dolomites, close to the Italian border. Lienz is also the city with the most hours of sunshine in Austria, with an average of just over 200 hours of sunshine in January! More than 100 kilometers of cross-country trails and cleared trails are also offered for non-skiers. Besides skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing and hiking, you can also go tobogganing, curling, paragliding and visit the rink. In the old town with many shops, a cinema, restaurants, Konditoreien, Landshut and bars you will find a great nightlife.

Location and surroundings

Lienzer Dolomites

The Lienzer Dolomites consists of two resorts, both with great snow records, with plenty of snow regularly from the beginning of December to the beginning of April. The Zetterfeld is the larger of the two with approximately 30 km (19 ml) of pistes. This resort is very suitable for the novice skier, but there are also plenty of more challenging options for experienced skiers and snowboarders.

The Hochstein is the second resort of the Lienzer Dolomites. This fun and challenging area will suit the experienced skier and snowboarder perfectly. The longer valley descents are very highly recommended! The great advantage of this resort is that there are practically no queues for the lifts.

Lift pass, lessons and material

In step 1 of the booking process, it is indicated which days the lift pass is valid for (eg Sunday to Friday). If you would like the ski pass to start on a different day than shown in the booking steps, you must contact our contact centre by telephone. The booking can then be adjusted.

On destination, it is not possible to change the lift pass start date to another day. An extension of the lift pass can often be booked for an extra surcharge; the price for this can be found in step 1 of the booking process. The discount for "no ski pass" can also be found in the booking process.

Discounts:

The ski pass for children born from 1/1/2015 is free. Children born between 1/1/2002 and 31/12/2014 receive a discount on the ski pass. You will find these discounts in the calculation of your travel sum.

Deposit:

You must pay the deposit of approximately € 5 on site. You will receive this amount back when you return your pass.

The above surcharges and discounts are only valid when booking through Sunweb. At the destinations, other rates may apply.
