Ullrhaus is a new and luxurious accommodation with a fantastic location in St. Anton. With the Galzigbahn and Rendellbahn 100 metres away, and only 50 metres from the valley, this is an ideal place to stay. After a day outdoors, you can warm up in the trendy lounge by the large fireplace.

All rooms and suites are luxuriously furnished, and equipped with a modern bathroom and a balcony overlooking the center or the slopes. In Ullrhaus' beautiful wellness area, you can also enjoy a heated pool and a bio sauna!

Snow conditions and sights in St. Anton

Get your skis ready, because there is plenty of snow waiting for you when skiing in St. Anton am Arlberg. The snow conditions are perfect for ski enthusiasts, especially when the sun is showing its best side! Don’t forget to pack a beanie and gloves though, as the high-altitude ski slopes will be colder than in the village. When you’re not skiing, you can learn more about the history of the sport at the fascinating St. Anton am Arlberg Museum or take in the fantastic view from the Ulmer Hütte. Don’t miss your chance to enjoy Austria’s world-famous après-ski scene and head to Mooserwirt for afternoon drinks by the slopes. You’ll always find something to do nearby in St. Anton.

Arlberg Skiregion

Ski holidays in the Arlberg skiregion, to which St Anton belongs, offers one of the biggest and most spectacular ski areas in Austria. It is very varied and there are many options at every level meaning Skiing in Arlberg skiregion provides something for everyone. The condition of the pistes is usually excellent and skiing back down to the resort centre is nearly always possible.

The Galzig cable cars have made skiing in the Arlberg skiregion very accessible. The highly experienced skiers and snowboarders can also enjoy the practically limitless off piste options when on a ski holiday in the Arlberg skiregion. The Arlberg lift pass also grants entrance to the resorts of Lech and Zürs. These are not directly connected but can still be reached easily with the, very well organised, ski buses. Besides the extra pistes, skiing in Lech offers you the opportunity to check out this famous village, with beautiful shops and a centre steeped in tradition.

Food & Drink:

Austria is known for its Vienna Schnitzels and Glühwein. Tap water is safe for drinking.

Opening times shops:

Shops are usually open from Monday until Friday from 09.00 AM to 18.00 PM (some shops close during the afternoon). Most shops are closed on Sunday.

Travelling by car:

Snow chains are obligatory in the Alps. You need a toll permit for the motorways in Austria. You can buy the permit at the AA in the UK or in Austria at the major border crossings. The European Commission advises you to wear a safety reflector jacket in the event of a break down or accident. This vest can be purchased from the AA in the UK as well.


The voltage is 230 volt.

UK mobile phones work in Austria as well.

Travel documents:

You need to be in the possession of a valid passport to travel to Austria.

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire

A Ski Arlberg lift pass is included in the holiday price.

You can see the surcharges and discounts for, for example, extending your lift pass or no lift pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Discounts for 2023/2024:

Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2016 are free. Children born between 01/01/2004 - 31/12/2015, and seniors born between 31/12/1949 - 31/12/1959, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.

Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
