Achenkirch lies at the foot of impressive high mountains and has almost 2,000 inhabitants, making it the largest village around Lake Achen. Achenkirch's ski area, Christlum, is the largest local area. This area boasts a total of 27 kilometers of slopes: 6 km of blue, 16 km of red, and 5 km of black. Thanks to modern snowmaking systems, snow is guaranteed.
The included ski pass is valid only for the Christlum ski area (no extension options are available for other areas). Two chairlifts and four drag lifts take you to an altitude of 1,780 meters.
After a day of skiing, you can relax in one of the public wellness centers. There's also plenty to do in the evenings, with various restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy a pleasant end to the day.
