Hotel Strela

Hotel Strela is a nice modern hotel in the centre of Davos. It is conveniently located with the ski bus stopping outside the front of the Hotel, you can be on the slopes in the morning in no time.

The rooms are, just like the rest of the Hotel, well kept and modernly furnished. You stay on a bed and breakfast basis, so you can head out for the day full of energy in the morning, you also have the option to book dinner. After a day on the slopes, it is great to come home to Hotel Strela and have a well-earned drink in the cosy bar.

Location and surroundings

Davos

The ski area of ​​Davos forms together with Klosters a fantastic ski paradise surrounded by five ski areas with a total of 209 kilometres of pistes. The public attraction is the Parsenn-Gotschna area. This area with 120 kilometres of slopes is located around the Weissfluhjoch. From here, wonderful long descents from each level leading into the valley. Snowboarders and freestylers meet on the Jacobshorn and free-riders prefer Pischa. There are also varied trails and hiking trails. Hikers can find real peace in this environment.

Cross-country skiers find their challenge on the 75 kilometres of groomed trails. The village is also known for its spas. A visit to one of the spas is certainly recommended.

Davos & Klosters

The ski area of Davos, together with Klosters, forms a fantastic ski paradise surrounded by five ski resorts, with a total of 320 kilometres of pistes. The main public attraction is the Parsenn-Gotschna area. This area has 108 kilometres of slopes and is located around the Weissfluhjoch. From there, you can wonderful long descents from each level leading into the valley. Snowboarders and freestylers love Jacobshorn and free-riders prefer Pischa. There are also several off-piste trails and hiking trails, on which you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

In Klosters, you will find the Madrisa ski area, which is especially suited for children. There are varied trails there for cross-country skiers too. The area offers a large range and variety of slopes. The village of Klosters offers an alternative to the busier city of Davos, and has accommodation to suit all tastes. Lovers of longer runs can indulge themselves here with five long runs from the Weissfluhjoch into the valleys.

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire

A Davos-Klosters ski pass is included in the tour price.

You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. Ski passes for children up to 5 years old is free. Children from 6 - 17 years old will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting the ski pass.

Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem the ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of the ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further into the booking steps. The discount for “no ski pass” can also be found in the booking process.

The following equipment can be booked:

Bronze

This equipment is ideal for beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The equipment is particularly manoeuvrable, so it makes turning and braking easy. Parallel skiing is also possible with these skis.

Silver

This is ideal equipment for intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The equipment is manoeuvrable and suitable for cutting corners sharply. Even at high speeds, these skis provide great performance.

Gold

These skis and snowboards are made of high quality material, and are perfect for experienced skiers. They can also be used by skiers who have mastered parallel skiing. This comfortable equipment is suitable for all track types and snow conditions.

Diamond

These are high performance skis and snowboards with the latest technology, and are suitable for the most experienced skiers.

You cannot book lessons in advance. You can arrange this yourself onsite.
