Skiing in Trysil

General information

Trysil is a town in one of the largest ski areas in Norway. The untouched nature is beautiful to behold, and if you stand on top of the mountains, you can look out over Sweden on a clear day. The border with the neighbouring country is therefore not far away, and the Norwegian capital Oslo is about 2.5 hours away. The area is therefore easily accessible from Oslo airport.

Diverse ski area

With green, blue, red, and black slopes, you can ski in Trysil at all skill levels. This diversity is also reflected off of the slopes. How about some dog sledding, a sleigh ride, or some ice fishing? Those would undoubtedly make for beautiful holiday photos. Would you like to go cross-country skiing? Then you will find over 60 miles of well-maintained cross-country trails around the mountain.

Sustainable destination

This region is the perfect place for a holiday with the whole family. From the snow park for snowboarders, to the playground for the little ones; everyone has been thought of. As if that wasn’t enough, Trysil also bears the Sustainable Destination label. This label shows that systematic work is being done to develop sustainable tourism in the area.
