Skiing in Ossana

About Ossana

Ossana is a historic village located in the higher part of the Val di Sole valley. The village consists of 2 parts; Cusiano and Fucile. Ossana is characterized by the San Michele castle and the accompanying Torre del Castello di S. Michele, the castle is built against a hill and therefore overlooks Ossana. You will also find a church from the year 1700 in this authentic village.

Ossana is a popular winter sports village. Every year the cross-country ski centre holds important competitions, such as the Nordic combination championships and a number of youth competitions. The ski slopes go through a varied landscape, one moment you ski on an open sunny slope and the next you go straight through the forest. This allows you to enjoy the beautiful and varied landscape while skiing. The slopes are suitable for every kind of skier, from beginner to advanced.
