Skiing in Les Orres

General information

Les Orres is a warm and welcoming ski resort located in the southern Alps. The ski area features 9 green, 5 blue, 17 red, and 5 black runs, offering something for every level of skier. The village was built in the 1970s, and although you’ll find some high-rise buildings, the extensive use of wood and natural materials gives the resort a charming and cozy atmosphere. Most of the shops and restaurants are located around the vibrant village square, where many of the slopes also end — making it the lively heart of the resort.

Tip: The Mazelière route is highly recommended for ski touring (ski de randonnée).

Les Orres is known for being very family-friendly. In addition to daycare facilities, there are plenty of activities and entertainment options for children. Adults can relax with a drink on one of the sunny terraces, or — for those seeking a bit more excitement — try Europe’s longest toboggan run! There’s fun for everyone in Les Orres.

A recent addition to the resort is the Pôle Sport Innovation – a modern 1,100 m² indoor sports complex featuring climbing walls, fitness equipment, VR simulators, wellness facilities, and even an indoor ski carpet.

If you’d like to explore beyond Les Orres, the La Forêt Blanche ski area, which includes the villages of Risoul and Vars, is less than an hour’s drive away. In Risoul, you’ll find lively après-ski at the Yeti Bar — perfect for a fun day trip!

Please note: The La Forêt Blanche ski pass is not included and must be purchased on-site.
