General information

Like Superdévoluy, La Joue du Loup is a relatively new village located in the ski resort of Massif du Dévoluy. The buildings in La Joue du Loup are lower and smaller than in Superdévoluy and predominantly chalets, which certainly adds a certain charm to the village as a whole. All accommodations are located within walking distance of the lifts, which means you can often ski right down to your doorstep. You can also choose to ski all the way to Superdévoluy (in the evening there is no connection to Superdévoluy itself).

Skiing in La Joue du Loup

La Joue du Loup is part of the Massif du Dévoluy ski area which has around 100km of ski slopes. It is mainly made up for blue and red slopes, perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers. There are plenty of options for cross country skiers too, with around 35km of trails.

The Resort

There are activities for non skiers in La Joue du Loup too. Soak in some winter sun and enjoy a drink at one of the bars. There is also a spa in Superdévoluy and the options to rent a snow mobile. Sunweb has a great assortment of different ski packages in Superdévoluy. From all inclusive hotels - to cheap, affordable apartments. There are options to suit all group sizes and budgets.
