Skiing in Bad Hofgastein

The modern skiing village of Bad Hofgastein is situated at the foot of Bad Gastein in a flat area. The village offers all possible conveniences and is predominately known for its health spa baths which can be enjoyed both indoors and outdoors. In the cosy town centre you will find various restaurants, shops and places of entertainment. You can enjoy your après ski in two ways.  There is of course the traditional après ski that can be enjoyed in one of the cosy bars but there is also the “healthy” option of completely relaxing in one of the health spa baths. You can also plan a day out to the Gasteiner Heilstollen. In the underground corridors of this curative mountain there is a constant temperature of 44 degrees. After your visit you will feel rejuvenated!  Another popular activity in this region is a visit to the Gasteiner Museum, here you can learn everything about the hunting and geology of the surrounding area. In short, there’s plenty to do and experience in Bad Hofgastein.
