Oetz

This typical Tyrolean village was the first 'ski village' in the entire valley. Oetz is a fairly large village, making it quite lively all year round. However, there are no stressful crowds. This is an ideal destination for families, and those looking for an authentic Austrian village.

Whilst most ski enthusiasts continue on to Sölden, Hochsölden and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, you can enjoy a peaceful holiday in Oetz. The Acherkogelbahn departs just outside the village, and will drop you off in the Hochoetz ski area. Approximately 25 miles of slopes are waiting for you there, the largest part of which is advanced slopes.

Map

Ötz-Hochötz

At the beginning of Ötztal in Tyrol, surrounded by beautiful nature, lies the family-friendly ski region Ötz-Hochötz. Fast and modern lifts take you a few minutes from Ötz into a beautiful winter wonderland with panoramic views over the Ötztal.

The small, child-friendly ski area Ötz-Hochötz is part of the Ötztal. An eight-person gondola takes you from Ötz to Hochötz at 2020 metres in eight minutes. Because Hochötz mainly has red slopes and a few blue slopes, the area is ideal for intermediate skiers and very suitable for the whole family. Ötz-Hochötz means winter sports fun for the entire family!

Lift pass, lessons and ski/board hire

A Kühtai-Hochoetz ski pass is included in the tour price.

You can see the surcharges and discounts for extending your ski pass or no ski pass in step 1 (preferences) of the booking process. If a child or senior discount applies, this will be shown in step 2 (price overview). Would you like to know which ski pass is included in your travel time? View our FAQ here .

Ski passes for children born after 01/01/2016 are free. Children born between 01/01/2004 - 31/12/2015, and seniors born up to and including 31/12/1959, will receive a discount on their ski pass. These discounts can be found in the calculation of your travel sum. Identification is required when collecting your ski pass.

Any surcharges and discounts are only valid upon booking. Other rates are applied locally. It is not possible to redeem your ski pass on another day onsite. An extension of your ski pass can often be booked as an extra; you will find the price for this further in the booking process. A discount for “no ski pass” can also be found during the booking process.
