The Ideal Ski Destination
Les Sybelles offers many activities for all ages and it is also easy to get to. Multiple airports are nearby, and if you would like to go by train, you can reach the ski resort from two different railway stations: Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne Arvan SNCF station and Saint-Avre-La Chambre SNCF station. It is also very convenient to arrive at the ski resort by car, as you are only 9–25 kilometres away from the A43 motorway, depending on which of the two exits you take.
At La Toussuire, you can go zip-lining and fly over Lake Eriscal. This 150-metre-long zip line is located at the start of the Chaput chairlift. You can get there on skis or on foot. Thrills guaranteed! The area offers several different activities such as boardercross, a freeride piste, tubing or even Snowpy Mountain.
Les Sybelles also offers holidaymakers the opportunity to try activities other than skiing. Try fat biking and mountain biking, dog sledging, snowshoeing, paragliding, tobogganing, visiting a farm or discovering the secrets of Beaufort production. The Sybelles area has many surprises in store for you!
For All Winter Sports Enthusiasts
Across the Les Sybelles region you’ll find plenty of red runs and ample off-piste terrain—making it a paradise for experienced skiers and riders. The toughest pistes cluster around Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves and Le Corbier. Snowboarders can head for the Ouillon freestyle area, a well-maintained snowpark.
Must-ski runs include the Vallons blue, Tufs red, and Perrons Haut black near Saint-Sorlin-d’Arves, plus La Combe and the famous Jean-Noël Augert on the Le Corbier side.
Novice skiers, don’t worry. With 31 green and 58 blue runs—and eight dedicated beginner areas—you can learn at your own pace and enjoy the mountains with confidence.
Authentic Villages
The ski area is made up of friendly and authentic mountain villages and two modern resorts – Le Corbier and La Toussuire. For an authentic and cosy atmosphere, head to the villages of St. Sorlin d’Arves, St. Jean d’Arves, Les Bottières and St. Colomban des Villards. They each have their own character.
