Skiing in Seiser Alm

About Seiser Alm

The village of Seiser Alm is situated on the largest continuous alpine meadow in Europe, right in the heart of the Dolomite ski area. Seiser Alm is not a traditional ski village with a lively center. Instead, you will find mainly hotels and accommodations, along with a small church that serves as a recognizable landmark. It is precisely this peace and sense of space that make the area so popular. Car traffic is limited, keeping the area quiet and uncluttered. The road to Seiser Alm is closed daily between 09:00 and 17:00, which contributes to its car-free atmosphere.

The area is particularly suitable for winter sports enthusiasts who want to stay directly on or close to the slopes and who value comfort and tranquility. This is not the place for après-ski or lively village life, but for those who enjoy relaxed skiing in an impressive mountain landscape, it is the perfect destination.
