if you travel to an EU country, your passport must meet the following requirements:
- Your passport should be less than 10 years old on the day you enter (check the ‘date of issue’ on your passport)
- Your passport needs to be valid for at least 3 months after the day you plan to leave (check the ‘expiry date’ on your passport)
Is your passport (almost) expired? Then you have to renew your passport. It is prohibited to travel with an expired passport.
