FAQ

How safe is it to fly?

What is the chance of contamination while flying?

The risk of contamination onboard is low. This is due to the air onboard being continuously refreshed. The planes have modern air filters (HEPA filters), which clear the air of pathogens. This combination of good ventilation, air filters and dry air limits significantly reduce the risk of spreading the virus.

Our flight partner EasyJet are also enforcing only FFP2(or equivalent) certified surgical masks must be worn on board. Scarves, face visors or masks with valves will not be accepted.

Where will I be sitting while flying?

Passengers within one booking are seated together as much as possible. Furthermore, airlines are striving to leave as much space as possible around the passengers. The crew will re-assign seats to increase space between passengers if possible. Whilst in the airport and boarding the plane it is recommended to maintain a safe distance of 1.5m wherever possible.

How is contact with other passengers and staff reduced?

Unnecessary contact between passengers and employees is limited by advising you to check-in online in advance and to stay in your seat whilst flying as much as possible. The service on board will also be different from what you are used to. Payment can only be made via card and the bistro service onboard has been reduced.

Can I sit with my travel group on the plane?
Passengers within one booking are seated together as much as possible. However to guarantee you sit together we recommend reserving seats together at check in.
