Carbon offsetting: why and how?

At Sunweb Group, we constantly try to improve our social, economic and environmental impact, in everything we do. That is why when you travel with us, your holiday is carbon neutral. This means that when you buy a holiday with one of our brands, we calculate the carbon emissions of your trip and then fund projects that reduce the same amount of carbon emissions. We do this for every Sunweb Group holiday. The projects that we fund are independently verified and meet internationally agreed standards, ensuring that the amount of carbon removed from the atmosphere matches what is claimed. We know that carbon offsetting is not the solution to climate change, but it is a vital part of taking responsibility now for our emissions. We are proud to be one of the first travel providers to offer carbon-neutral holidays and help customers choose more environmentally friendly travel options.
